Health & Ethical Breeding

Although I am a newer breeder, from the very beginning I have made health my top priority.

As an ethical breeder, I make sure that all kittens are neutered before leaving my cattery. This means they typically go to their new homes between 14–18 weeks of age, allowing appropriate time for socialisation with their mother and littermates, so they grow into happy, well-adjusted and confident cats ready for their new adventure.

I do not sell any of my kittens for breeding or with breeding rights under any circumstances or below appropriate age of 14-18 weeks.

My cats are cherished members of my family, not simply pets, and I dedicate a great deal of love, care, and commitment to raising them. For this reason, I am extremely selective about the homes they go to and will only place them where I am confident they will be loved, respected, and cared for throughout their lives.

I also provide lifetime support and guidance to all of my kitten owners. I am always available to offer advice, answer questions, and help ensure each kitten settles happily and thrives in their new home.

All current and future breeding cats are scanned for HCM by an approved cardiologist annually, or prior to breeding (subject to cardiologist availability). In addition, my breeding cats are tested and confirmed negative for FIV/FELV, CSM, and BHK.

I also perform a random PCR for Herpesvirus, Chlamydia, Calicivirus and Mycoplasma testing on a random kitten. If a prospective buyer wishes to review the parents' health testing results or any additional information, such as pedigrees, I am more than happy to provide this upon request.

To ensure ethical care, my queens have 1 to 3 litters within 2 years, while my breeding program focuses on developing healthy cats that meet the correct Sphynx standard and preserve the original look of the breed.

I am firmly against breeding unapproved and unethical types such as Dwelf, Elf, Bambino, Bully or overly wrinkled types, due to their health issues which is giving a bad reputation to the breed.
