ADSYMFO NOAHNASTY, affectionately known as “Nono,” was the very first Sphynx in our family and the cat that started our passion and dedication to this incredible breed.

Nono is a true example of the Sphynx breed — loving, affectionate, curious, brave, confident, and endlessly attention-seeking. His remarkable personality towards both humans and other animals immediately captured my heart, as I had never before met a cat so full of love for absolutely everyone and everything around him.

What makes Nono even more special is his incredible ability to connect with people. Thanks to his gentle, affectionate, and reassuring nature, he has helped several people overcome their fear of cats and even ease past negative experiences or trauma associated with them. His calm and loving temperament has changed many people’s perception of the breed and cats in general.

Although his show career was shorter and not quite as extensive as Chunk’s — mainly because Nono was never a fan of constantly being moved in and out of show cages — he still achieved wonderful recognition. One of my proudest moments was seeing him become one of the featured faces on a GCCF show banner.

Throughout his show career, judges consistently praised his exceptional breed type and overall quality. This inspired me to pair him with Rosie, carefully balancing their individual strengths and imperfections. Together, they produced exactly what I had hoped for — kittens with outstanding type, wonderful personalities, and excellent show potential, which has since been proven both in the show hall and at home as loving companions.
